Harden Primary School is proud to be part of Exceed Academies Trust. We are a co-educational comprehensive primary school for children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. We are a one form entry school which means our admission number is 30 per group (agreed with the Local Education Authority) and we currently have 212 children on roll.

Each September 30 children are admitted into our Reception class. The School’s maximum Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 210.

Our admissions are dealt with by our Local Authority and there are times when there are more children wanting a place at Harden Primary School than we have places. When this is the case, our Local Authority will first offer places to children who have a sister or brother, who lives at the same address, provided they are still on roll on the 1st September. This means that if your child is due to leave for secondary school, the Local Authority will not apply the sibling rule. Places are then usually offered to children who live nearest to school (as the crow flies).

For further information about admission arrangements please refer to the Local Education booklet “A Guide for Parents about Admission Arrangements to Primary Schools” which is available on the Bradford Council website – click here  to access their guides for parents regarding in-year admissions and admissions for September 2019.
